Weclock: from what I remember in the opening scene the beer label I saw said Fosters.
meaning this is the UK version of the game.

Wishbone: In other words, the real version?

Yes, in my opinion, having a Fosters Beer label makes more sense.

Naturally, since that's where his adoptive father gets the idea for his last name.

ss ipm (raw) for a beer label doesn't make much sense, now if it were warm piss, that might make more sense.

LOL. "Robert Warm Piss, that's what we'll call you!" :-D
I find it funny that if you give Lamb the sandwich, it uses a speech file from the intro, so Foster says "Welcome to the Gap Robert!"

Aliasalpha: Depending on how perverted you are, 'lubricant' could give you an entirely wrong idea on how to solve a puzzle...
Subtitles and voiceovers not matching are hardly a new thing though, it's been going on for as long as there's been subtitles. Watch a few DVDs with subtitles on and you'll realise that the dialogue particularly for fast speaking characters, tends to get condensed in the subtitles or there'd be a wall of text

Of course the user with female written all over its wall comments on this topic, amongst all others.

Sandwich? Where'd you get a sandwich at? (My memory might be failing me, but I don't remember ever having food on me -- not counting the dog biscuits...

Hobbin's lunch, in the cupboard. You have to retrieve it early on by distracting him with the elevator alarm. It's absent later on, presumably because he's gone to eat it.
