I just purchased the game. On the game page it says that there is quite some bonus content included with the "Standard Edition" but the only thing I can download are the game files. Will the bonus content be added later?

The items listed with Beautiful Desolation are a bit on the confusing side. I just confirmed with GOG staff that a lot of them are for Stasis. Basically, if you purchase the Beautiful Desolation standard edition you get the basic Stasis items such as

wallpapers
Additional Wallpapers
early Stasis Test footage
Avatars
concept arts
poster

If you purchase the BD DE you get the Stasis

Deluxe wallpapers
Screenplay
in game text doccument
Sound track
Additional music
Poems
radio adverts
artbook

and on top of that you will get the beautiful Desolation art book, OST, and wallpapers (with the deluxe edition)

The above for the Beautiful Desolation standard edition will show up under the Stasis game extras....not under beautiful Desolation's extras. So, if you owned Stasis already or got it for free with the Desolation purchase that is where they should be.

It seems like a strange way to list everything as it does not clarify all this. I don't know how they will deal with this listing set up when the launch deal is done.

What does the "in game text document" contain?

The "ingame text document" contains all the text of the diary entries, reports and notices in the game Stasis.

Completely unrelated: I noticed that if you buy the deluxe edition, you get the standard edition+deluxe upgrade DLC for Beautiful Desolation, which includes the soundtrack, but it still says you don't own the soundtrack DLC, both on the website as in Gog Galaxy.

So this is an issue that should be reported? Ok, I can make another ticket specific to it or tag one of the GOG staff in the launch chat. I did make a ticket asking the question but set it as resolved since the question was answered in chat. But if it will fix it self after the launch sale and every one has access to the extras it might not be necessary. Still it would be good to clarify it at the sale page just so every one knows.

In the game launch chat a GOG representative did make a statement about it.
