Can someone for whom it does not work please: 1) uninstall it, 2) download and install it using the offline files, and 3) verify if it now works or not. It would be worth knowing if Galaxy (or the Galaxy version of the installer) is the issue.

Looks to me its video related and if it works on other clients then you guys should look into it together with Gog.

Too bad, was planning to play the game today.

Hope you guys take this seriously and try to resolve it asap cause its clear this is not a one man issue.

SebDaz: There are no log files to be found with GOG Galaxy it seems ... even hidden files.

@zazak09 I had the same problem ou had, game would just launch a black screen, sometimes a box would appear asking me to send the report to developpers ... It seems videos wouldn't launch and crash the game. I skipped Galaxy's launching menu and went to the games folder to launch the .exe in administrator mode and it"s been working perfectly thereafter, videos launching, language selection and so on ...

Get K-Lite Codec Pack Basic:

Install, then restart.
I'm happy to say updating the Codec as you suggested solve my issue! (I'm in Don's hangar...no possibility to play more right now :) )

Hey Guys,

Can you send me a zip of your messages.log files before you installed the codec? They are in the
save game folder. I am trying to work out which one is missing so I can fix it. I can't seem to recreate it on my side.
