Does anyone know if the mods for the original release work with this?
Also, how much of the unofficial patch released in 2016 is incorporated into this?

BZCC was built on a version of Battlezone II's code that was intended for release as 1.3.7.3 in mid-2017. Modder-created maps and units and suchlike were stripped out for legal reasons, but everything else was incorporated.

Unfortunately, due to the extent of the changes made, old mods won't work - though that's the case with most other versions of the game too. Not to worry, though - most major mods can be expected to go through community overhaul at some point or other, with the update for Forgotten Enemies' already underway.

Thank you! Is there a good single place to find mods?
Or just google em?

The Steam Workshop is currently the best place. Gog users can download mods from there using the tutorial at https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1309965911

Hi so as I lost all my (paid) games from Steam due to the fact steam never responded to my questions OFFLINE never worked for long and what were all the incessant downloads for fully patched up games (silence),In anger I cancelled the account . rebought some games from gog. including bz2 remastered. but its crap. 1/ due to no mods. 2/ sucks as often building a base with the initial attacks from scions which die down to none.(.i also had settings set as hard and high for scion assets and low for human..) So after a bit of time my base is secure say in canyons and sensing something is wrong a take my single tank to the scion base and see the scion recycler has not even activated just sitting there building nothing at all since start of game. The initial attacks were only from the higher assets scions had to start. So I kill recycler with just one tank game over.
In short given above - steam may be the best for mods - I also did not want to be forced to know how many hours I played and much more.. They are more than a monopoly as are withholding information we are entitled to know- I own all the physical DVD's which are useless without steam .They withheld info were entitled to know are suspicious insidious etc.
So ill never use them. However steam is the only place as far as I've seen to get the mods /packs. I'm not a pirate and will buy them but where-Modder's should be paid they transformed the great game. Had steam answered my questions and be able to permanently be OFFLINE offline id still be using them,
The silence tells me they don't really allow Offline and make sure one has to go back online at some point due to clever means to get their unknown downloads on fully patched up games as are older games also. Then wait forever until they finish to play they game we paid for correction we only have a licence- although I own the retail DVD's, "Re: The Steam Workshop is currently the best place" So what are the other place/s ? . many thanks for any help.
