I almost bit the bullet on Combat Commander but read that even to play LAN multiplayer, you need GoG Galaxy - NO THANKS.

The entire reason I purchase games from GoG and not Steam is so I have DRM-Free copies requiring zero connection to a 3rd party app to do with how I want.

Is this the case for 98 Redux as well, or can I LAN without needing Galaxy?

There isn't even any sort of LAN option in BZ98R to begin with... :(
