I'm still doing mostly 2-skull missions because I don't feel secure in moving up before I get a couple of heavier machines than the 40 - 55 ton mechs I'm using now.
Anyone know what level missions the heavies start appearing on with any degree of consistancy?

From what I have seen, heavy mechs started to appear pretty regularly at three skulls, also as targets in assasination missions at 2 and 2.5 .
