Hi.I have been playing battletech for couple days and the store has always been available to use in orbit. Now when i go to a planet the store is only available when i first hit orbit from the pop up screen that says vist store.I no longer have the option if i choose to go to a mission or just orbit the planet .Did i mis something at the end of one of the main quests that took this away or just a bug?
Stores are only on planets with a population.

Guess you are orbitting an unpopulated planet.

Only Mechpilots can be hired and fired everywhere.
Thats not whats happening as i get to use the store when i first get to the planet and the pop up screen says vist store.I just cant use it after that until i go to a new panet
I really think that there is a bug in the store function as I have been able to visit a store while en-route to a planet. (ie, not in orbit or close to anything at all)
That sounds really strange. I can visit the store on-route too, but cannot buy because I am not in the orbit.

Think you should create bug report at the paradox forums.

If I load up the game again I'll pay attention. I know that I have visited a store en-route to a planet and sold stuff before.

Either way the option should be greyed out unless, as you said, you are orbiting a habitable planet or possibly while docked to a jump ship (providing a very limited option of stuff to buy).
