I am also experiencing this. At first I thought it was because I had the Advanced 3062 mod installed, but after a complete uninstall and re-install without any mods it is still happening. I've tried deleting the files from within the game and manually, but they just keep coming back when cloudsave syncs. So now my cloudsave is full of old savefiles I cannot seem to get rid of.
You have to delete the saves while Galaxy AND Battletech are running. This will sync the saves when closingBattletech and waiting till it says its synced. If it doesnt work try a second time. Important thing, both game and Galaxy need to be running.
ok i got my problem taken care of, what worked was like what was said they both need to be running at the same time, delete the files in the game, alt-tab out move the files to somewhere ( mine were in a C0 file) then close the game it will sync and worked for me, hope it helps
Ând a new comment on that. I dont know which is the reason, but deleting saves in BT 1.7 with Galaxy 2.0 Atlas did not remove the games from savegame folder, although marked as deleted in game )but after next gamestart they were back) . Solution here is running the game and Galaxy at the same time and then deleting the older saves in Windows Explorer. Then syncing again (I had to do twice) will finally erase them in Cloud, too. Still 200GB is quite few for a TBS game where I at least save after every mission.
I have both Galaxy and Battletech running. I delete the uneeded saves and; nothing.

Everything I delete reappears when I restart the game.

How do I pull off the manual deletions? Which folder do I go into and which files do I delete.

I am not a computer genius.

Youhave to enable to see hidden folders in Windows Explorer, then move to:
c:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\Applications\50593543263669699\Storage\Shared\Files\C0\SGS 1

in this folder sort files by date and then delete the oldest ones (or better the fitting ones, if you have older Carreers saved, too)
