So, no matter how I install when I try and run the game it does not work. this is the error shown in the error log:

Read from location 0000003a caused an access violation.

I am using a Win10 system with 16G RAM, i5 4670k CPU @3.4GHz. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like tht is a Unity error. Maybe another game built with Unity has something that is causing the issue. Could alsShould post that over on the paradox boards. There is a help thread in this forum with all of the links.

No other games loaded. I just installed new HD, hence the Win10 bs, but I will check for the linksd and see the rabbit hole that takes me down.

I also had this problem, which for me was caused by incompatability of the game with my integrated Intel HD graphic driver. I solved it by by disabling and deleting the driver from my system. The game however still runs extremely slow to the point of unplayabe, Still working on that.
