My friend has this game, good game, I think I will buy at some point.
On his version when I played I noticed a couple of things:

If you make a character you have 3 health, if you choose both the options that give + to guts, you start with four guts, which should give you an extra health point - it doesn't. You still start woth three health.

My friend had tried modding the SimGameConstants so he could get all the sabilities, it did not work:
He changed:
"MaxLevelOneAbilities" : 2,
"MaxLevelTwoAbilities" : 1,
to:
"MaxLevelOneAbilities" : 4,
"MaxLevelTwoAbilities" : 4,
On each of the SimGameConstants files.

He was still limited to two of the level 5 skills abilities and 1 level 8 skill abiltiies.
