Hi there!

I've got a bit of a problem. After installing the game, and trying to launch it, the application pops up, screen goes black, and than couple seconds later I'm back to my desktop with game closed. No error messages nothing.

Did somebody has similar problems?

I did, have you found the root of this issue? I checked that I can run the .bk2 files in C:\GOG Games\BATTLETECH\BattleTech_Data\StreamingAssets\Video

I had the same problem. Battletech sat idle in memory for a long time. The computer it was on had issues that resulted in me having to get a new rig. New one handled it just fine for a couple of days. Lately, I've been getting a STOP/RJVU Ransomware issue from it an the security software won't let it run.

then uninstall your av software and replace it with something up to date that allows you to decide what software is running
