I have played and finished all the flashpoints, no more appear on the galactic map (in caimpaign mode) is there a way to respawn them again so I can play through them a second time without reverting back to an older save?

I'd suggest trying Career mode now. Tons of the Flashpoints are 3 and 3.5 skull, so well suited to the mid game of mediums mixed with heavies. And getting to the mid-game is fun vs. the slog that I found the end game to be... But everyone is different. :)

Appears not to be possible.
Played through career mode once now, it's a bit frustrating with the flashpoints popping up early game,
3 and 4 skull missions when you can barely handle the 2 skullers.
No worries, the uncompleted ones respawn later and you have well enough time to do them all.
Ended up with about 200 days to spare when ran out of flashpoints.
