So yeah, I was testing Cheat Engine' speedhack on various games, to see how close I could get to a decent working tactical pause, and Battle Realms (and also Dungeon&Dragons: Dragonshard) has been a total success.

I was running a 0.02 speedhack using space bar, and I made this video to showcase the experience - I'm nowhere near a competent content creator on youtube:
