Game runs fine but I can't save any games which is a serious pain, any ideas?

When I ran into this problem what I did was either run it in administrator mode or I went into my firewall and ONLY LET battle realms access.

Use compatibility- mode for windows xp service pack 2. If this doesnt work create a folder "saved games" in the battle realms file directory.
