I recently found the disc for this game in a mass pile of old games and attempted to install. i managed to run the autoplay but can't get past installing as i an not see any continue options and have attempted alt tabbing to possible correct continue links but can only get as far as the user agreement before being sent back to start screen of install launcher.

Try this - right click the installer .exe and click properties. Click on the compatibility tab and try various compatibility settings. Also, run this program as an Administrator.
