Hey, does anybody know if Battle Realms would work on Windows 8 64bit?? Please say yes!!

Installed it quickly on my new laptop to find out, it appears to work perfectly on windows 8.

You can run it, but you may experience some problems such as missing minimaps, icons, and slower than normal unit movement. This is not always the case.

Haven't tried yet (my Windows 8 PC is unavailable right now) but normally, making the .exe execute as administrator and/or Windows 7 mode seems to do good in other games.

Hello.

Battle Realms works fine on Windows 8. The more to say: the game doesn't care about what version of Windows you got.

99% of the problems come from the videocards or bad game repacks, NOT from Windows. Please, remember that.

There's been only one known glitch that appeared to happen only on Windows 8: the minimap is black, but you can see rice/water/unit spots on there. The solution is Alt+Tab.

I may requires older DirectX files as well. The Win8 or Win10 isn't always has those. I always had my own D3DX pack for the worst case. I suggest this for everyone. I copied the files from my XP installation. :)
