Running Incubation in Windows 10 the music, but not the sound effects from shooting weapoons etc., begins to stutter as soon I'm pressing the "enter" oder "esc" key, e.g. for saving.

Using windows compatibilty mode 8 fixes the sound problem, but creates anoter one: A pixelated horizontal beam at the height of the mouse pointer.

Does anyone know how to solve one of the two problems?

OK, I found out how to solve this problem. Here's how:

Instead of using nGlide included in the GOG version as a glide wrapper, use dgVoodoo instead. Move the unpacked data to your "Battle Isle Incubation" folder and select "Overwrite all". Run dgVoodooSetup.exe and make the appropriate adjustments for your system. Then start Incubation in 3Dfx mode.
