There was a small issue with sound for me (win7_64 laptop). When game starts everything works fine but restoring saved game results in no speach in 3d cutscenes. Well it kinda screwes gameplay if you want to follow plot so this is what worked for me. Run settings.exe (when you're at it add admin rights to it) select 3dfx mode and enjoy speach during cutscenes.
