Battle Chess: It's chess, with graphic violence.
Yeah it's great to see one knight dismember another, and yeah it's extremely satisfying to watch your opponent's king get offed. If you never got into chess though, graphic violence is probably not going to sell you on it. If chess is your bag, then this is going to be a fun diversion. Of course, if you're a chess shark, you'll probably find yourself skipping a lot of the animations to get the game up to the speed you're used to anyway, and you'd probably be better off with a game like Chess Master that has more sophisticated strategies built in.

the manual-based anti-piracy check has been removed, right?
I remember once or twice pounding on my old Packard Bell's keyboard because I couldn't find the right answer in the manual and had to keep trying until I got it right.

This was the game that got me interested in chess. It was the first time I had ever seen chess and to this day, it is one of the earliest games I remember playing. I think it was on an Amiga or something but I was a bit young to remeber.

lol, well someone has to say it....
(anyone young or of a sensitive nature, go look out the window... and probably avoid the internet in general)
when I was in uni a few years ago, one of mates showed me a game on the pc called love chess. its pretty much how you'd imagine it to be, both cringeworthy and hilarious! its a 3d rendered chess game along similiar lines to battle chess, but with an emphasis on making love, not war ;)
the whites are all naked, stone women, and the blacks are all naked, stone men (both baring the king/queen) and it plays like normal chess. when a piece takes another, it really "takes" it... i think the loading screen boasted it having a unique animation for each possible encounter, so it seems like they put some effort into making it. Lots of "research" no doubt...
id reccomend for a laugh, it made us giggle anyway!

Oh, believe me I feel you. I used to have this game on my Compaq 80/80. There's just something about playing it on a monocolor green screen that gets lost now.

My dad is a fan of the Battle Chess games. Still has the REALLY old 5' Floppies for Chinese Chess.

from where could I install this game can anyone help me out? I have already tried to download this game from torrent but windows defender stops to install me that game. I have talked withbut they didn't help me out. So now I am asking for help to you guys.

If you got the game from "a torrent", then you're not going to get help. Especially since you're getting 3 games for about 700 local currency units.

Buy the game and I'm sure Windows Defender won't have a problem with a legitimate installer.
