I'd like to know if this game is open world, and if a player is required to make choices about what to say and do. Is it that way, or can a player go everywhere and do everything just by playing it from the beginning to the end once?

Nope, it has no open world. You see a world map where you can only move on the highlighted roads. Special waypoints marking locations or other interesting things.
Yeah but what I actually meant was my question about whether you must choose which quests to do or which things to accomplish, or whether you must choose what to say to characters (NPCs) or if you can say everything.
Im just at the beginning of the game. Playtime is about 3-4 hours.
What i can say for now is you are following the storyline when move around the map.
There are many locations at the start area you cannot reach. Closed doors, barriers and such things.
So movements are limited. You cannot go wherever you want.
When in town, you can talk to the people that lives there. Some of them have quests.
In that case the person (The house, you see the town houses, not the poeple) is marked with an " ! ".
If you chose a quest you may go further on the map, reaching new areas or unlock some doors with
keys you optain for those quests.
Sorry my english is not the best, but i hope that was helpful.
Well I guess so. If you've played Dragon Age Origins or any of the 3D Fallout games, that's what I'm talking about.
