Will we get it here, as a patch, or...?
I would love to know this, as well. Both the Epic Store and Steam versions already have it available.
WB is ignoring the GOG version. They previously also ignored it for the WB Play skins that were added to Steam and Epic versions.
That's outrageous, does anyone knows a way to download the dlc suit to install the files like a mod on the GOG version?
The official suit, not the ones on Nexusmods, even the best one is made of the unfinished version of the suit.
Until its added, no install for me.

Guys, please calm down. I can understand your frustration, but some facts:

1. The new suit released on STEAM is the one you consider unfinished. It's exactly the same that was accidently released on EPIC before.

2. The missing Zur-En-Arr and Anime suits can be activated quite easily in the GOG version by adding or changing the following lines in one of the BmGame.ini files:

.ShowcaseItems=( Page="Players", Item="BatmanGothamKnight", Skin="Playable_Batman_GothamKnight", Levels="Showcase_Ambient_Background|Showcase_Players_DLCBatmanGothamKnight", Camera="HumanL", SortIndex=190, Unlocked=TRUE )

.ShowcaseItems=( Page="Players", Item="BatmanZurEnArrh", Skin="Playable_Batman_ZurEnArrh", Levels="Showcase_Ambient_Background|Showcase_Players_DLCBatmanZurEnArrh", Camera="HumanL", SortIndex=190, Unlocked=TRUE )

The important thing is to set "Unlocked=TRUE" in the ShowcaseItems line, all necessary file have always been there in the current GOG version.

3. If you think the GOG version is always handled substandard: the STEAM version was missing the Earth 2 Dark Knight skin until yesterday. Now they got the files - but it seems like it is still missing in the game menu due to some bug or error with the patch.

4. In the STEAM version it is not just the new suit added to a DLC folder, it's implemented directly in the main game folder and some other important files have been changed as well, so there might be some other bugfixes beyond the suit. So you can't just copy over the suit - and copying all files might interfere with the STEAM copy protection we don't want in the GOG version.

5. If you look at the STEAM forums there seem to be some new bugs that have to be sortet out anyway, so also on STEAM this might not be the last update. Let's wait til they get them sorted out there - and I am quite confident the suit and other updates will make their way to the GOG version as well, officially or unofficially. Don't worry! ;)

Very useful, thank you!
Just tried on the EGS version to unlock the two additional skins and these lines

did not work. I then noticed that those lines are all starting with "." and the other lines in my ini did not. So I decided to insert these lines instead which worked for me for the EGS version:

ShowcaseItems=( Page="Players", Item="BatmanGothamKnight", Skin="Playable_Batman_GothamKnight", Levels="Showcase_Ambient_Background|Showcase_Players_DLCBatmanGothamKnight", Camera="HumanL", SortIndex=190, Unlocked=TRUE )

ShowcaseItems=( Page="Players", Item="BatmanZurEnArrh", Skin="Playable_Batman_ZurEnArrh", Levels="Showcase_Ambient_Background|Showcase_Players_DLCBatmanZurEnArrh", Camera="HumanL", SortIndex=190, Unlocked=TRUE )

Then you tried to edit the main BmGame.ini. This one does not have the dots. If you try to add the lines to one of the BmGame.ini in the DLC folders - or you could also create your own DLC folders, which I did, then it should work.
Thanks for providing the EGS files, I'll definitely have a look at those.
I have access to the GOG and STEAM version, so I know what STEAM updated. I also already tried to copy the files I consider relevant for the 2022 suit to my GOG installation. Sadly this did not work... yet.

Yes, that is exactly what I did. Did not know therer were two Bmgame.ini files. Since at least the actual skin is not included in a DLC folder it might be the safest way to edit the main Bmgame.ini - at least in this case. In any case I managed to unlock those two skind in the EGS version. Please let me know if you manage to unlock the new skin in the GOG version as well - I am dying to know if the files I've collected are enough to do this.
I am sorry, but I think that's not enough. Judging from other stand alone added skins like Earth 2 Dark Knight, I would expect you at least would also need the following:

GlobalShaderCache-PC-D3D-SM5.bin
GuidCache.upk
GFxUI.upk
Textures.tfc

Especially the texture file is nasty, because it's 1+ GB big - and looks like they burried the new textures in this general texture file. Very annoying. Maybe someone with knowledge of how to extract and repack stuff from upk-files couls get them separated?
What I did was, put the "playable" and "showcase" and the listed files into a new DLC folder, and give it the following line:

.ShowcaseItems=( Page="Players", Item="BatmanTheBatman", Skin="Playable_Batman_TheBatman", Levels="Showcase_Ambient_Background|Showcase_Players_BatmanTheBatman", Camera="HumanL", SortIndex=191, Unlocked=TRUE )

Same as other DLC do - but this sadly did NOT work.

Then there are some other files changed on STEAM -

OnlineSubsystemSteamworkd.upk
AkAudio.upk
BARKSET_Pred-Red_Hood...
Bank_Small_Px.upk
BmGame.upk
Engine.upk
Pyg.upk
StartupPatch.upk

- some of them heavy hitters which I at the moment don't dare touch, because I don't want to rely on them beeing exchangeable between GOG and STEAM version. Maybe with a bit more time I might compare files sizes STEAM old to GOG. If they match, files might be identical/interchangeable.
On the other hand: what I've seen from the new suit is really disappointing. Textures are low res and seem to be taken directly from SWITCH without any optimization. And it does not even have a shadow! :(
That's so amateurish that I get to the point where I have to say: why bother?
If that's all there is, maybe it would have been better to just leave the game alone...

Thank you for testing. For what its worth, did you also try to edit the main bmgame.ini? That is where the line was originally.
There is no reason they couldn't at least say when (or whether) they expect that GOG will be getting it. They have Twitter/X. It costs nothing to post this information.

You're welcome. No big deal. :)
No, I did not try to do changes directly in the main BmGame. This could be a potential problem why it does not work - but I am not eager enough to get the suit to risk screwing up my GOG installation. At least not without proper backup. ;)
Maybe there is some information in the other files telling the game where to look for official DLC and if I put it somewhere else, it is not found. Or maybe the information is located in some of the other files I haven't copied yet. But that would totally contradict the implementation of separate DLC file structures. Or maybe the game does not like to have several Textures.tfc files with different content. So I could try renaming it - or replacing the original. There are still some options that could be tried... If I have updates I'll post them here. :)

You won't be able to screw up your GOG installation. Just make a backup of the ini file before and even if the game should crash (which probably won't happen) you could easily revert to your orginal GOG version by simply using the archived ini. I can't tell you how often I've edited Unreal engine ini files ... they do nothing to your installation they simply say the game what to load and which settings to use.
