Anyone else having a problem with Arkham Asylum launching? Once I get past the first launcher window (the one with the bat logo where you can change settings), I see the second launcher with Bats holding a batarang, and then...nothing. The game shuts down, syncs saves (even though I can't get it start), and the "Play" button turns purple again in the Galaxy interface.

I've tried all the standard crash problem solutions posted on the GOG support page (messing with settings, compatibility mode, game re-installation, DirectX installs, turned off A/V, put a rule in the firewall, etc.) and nada. Restarted my PC a few times for good measure, too.

Before I put a ticket in, I was just curious if this is a "me" problem or if anyone else is having issues?

I'm having issues launching the game as well. The Launcher complains about missing Direct 3D (see attached) - will be submitting help request to the GOG Support Team: https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015998078-Batman-Arkham-Asylum-Game-of-the-Year-Edition?product=gog

I had a crash when I copied the Arkham Asylum savegame I created while playing the Epic version into the directory with the GOG savegame. The moment I wanted to select the savegame slot the game crashed.

Try to renme the savegame directory to make sure it's not something like that.

So, solved the issue I was having.

I used Galaxy's Manage Installation -> Verify/Repair and that fixed it.

Game launches as it should. Not sure if that pulled down updated files, or if it triggered dependency installs. It works so I won't be complaining :)
