Looking at a review of the dlc on GOG it says that unlocks for this dlc don't work on GOG as they are tied to an achievement that is only available on steam.

The review indicates that as this is broken on the GOG version it is not possible to unlock the special classes for all races.

Is this still the case or did the developer fix it?

I couldn't say either way, but it might be worth noting that a major update was released very recently.

Hi, GOG version now has local achievement tracking so you can unlock the DLC classes for all races by earning the achievement.
