I'm fairly new to GOG so not sure how the sales work. Is Banished likely to be reduced further, like in a flash sale?

Banished has yet to appear in any of the flash sales, and there is a set group for them, so it is unlikely to be reduced any further during this sale.

I'm apparently too much of a newb on the forum to be allowed to post links, but if you go to the General Discussion forum, you'll see a post named "2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale Tracker" where you can find a list of all the games that have been on sale.

Ah right, I thought the deals kept recurring. It probably won't be reduced further then. Thanks.

Even though it is well worth the 9.99$, you might want to postpone until the end of the sale. This game MIGHT be a freebie on the last day of the sale, which I think is the 29th.

Most freebies I've seen from GOG are older games that very few people would buy anyway, let alone play for free. I bought this game for $10 because other than here I did not see this game go on sale below it's normal $20 price. Humble Bundle might have, cannot say for sure, but I missed that one. Not to sound cheap, I waited for a DRM-free copy to go on sale and it happened so better jump on it before the sale ends today/tomorrow.

You didn't mislead anyone, you just said it might be a freebie. I waited, and in the end, because I bought numerous other games in the sale, I decided to hold on until another sale. I'm thoroughly enjoying all the RPG/TBS games I piccked up! I'm sure I'll end up getting Banished at some point though.
