Darkhan: Been building up my town slowly, had a decent population going (around 100 / Year 30 ) and boom! Tornado shows up.. Now population 39!
Holy poop that was awesome! Those things are majorly destructive!
Just glad I had a good stockpile of resources before that hit, else Monkeyville was doomed.
So, on this note, pray relate your own in-game disasters :)
Had one last night. Mine was fire and wiped out just about everything. I only had 4 houses left of 27, market, tools, woodcutters (2), 1of 2 storage sheds, church, doctor, tailor, boarding house, town hall. Left me with very little as you can see. Then naturally no one had any tools and to top it off, the mumps appeared just after starting to rebuild. Man, what a nightmare. Oh, I forgot it took out my stockpile also...lol. I have recovered but it was awful frustrating with many close calls to losing it all.
I have not seen the tornado YET, and hope I don't have any more disasters happen as bad as the fire was.
Also, the laborers and townspeople suck at fighting fire. Looked as if the whole town had buckets of water trying to put out the fire, yet not one fire was put out as far as I could tell. Had three wells, maybe a person needs even more?
