HI all,

We have uploaded a new installer for Banished that will update your game to version 1.0.3. Please download the new installer from your game shelf at your earliest convenience in order to get the latest version of the game :)

Changes:

-Fixed a potential crash that could occur if two buildings overlapped.
-Fixed splitting or emptying herds from pastures. This will no longer
cause small pastures to become overfull.
-Added an option to set the scale of status icons. This is useful in
ultra wide resolutions where the icons become large.
-Fixed a bug that caused large population cities to randomly unassign
workers.
-Fixed a pause/lag that would occur as the game reassigned workers to
new professions.
-Fixed a bug that allowed the edges of tunnels to overlap other buildings.
-Fixed an infinite loop that occured using the path tool when a citizen
couldn’t get from home to a workplace.
-Citizens without a workplace will once again do any job on the map.
Citizens that have jobs will generally still stay near their workplace
unless work to be done has been around for several months and no general
laborer has done it.

Thanks and have a nice day :)

Will the 1.0.4 patch come over here as well? It's been out for a while, and it opens up the opportunity to add mods to the game. There is also a ModKit that can be downloaded now. Both available at the official site.

Is the patch out of beta? Last I heard it was still a beta patch.

What about the modkit?

Went back to the site, and both do indeed appear to still be in beta. Guess that means you can't use it as the game installer, but it would be nice to have it available somehow anyway, as extra downloads perhaps?

Sure, as long as everything is out of beta, we'll be more than happy to offer the modkit...once it comes out of beta :P
Allright, that's fair enough I guess. We can still get it, thankfully :) Was good fun playing with some mods too. And I'm sure there will come out much better and more advanced stuff with time, as people learn what can be done.
