Just wondering if anyone else is having trouble with mods in Banished. I've downloaded a few... and the economy mods (More wood/stone/iron / Better Harvesting / etc) 'seem' to work, but the mods that add buildings and things of that nature don't seem to work. Even the one that modifies the GUI (Alternate time placement) hasn't worked for me. I'm not sure if I've got them prioritized incorrectly or if the mods are version specific?

I downloaded the game from here on GOG, then patched it to the latest version on the modding website here, and then decided to go back to the version GOG has on stock, still with no luck on running the mods correctly. Also tried x86 and x64 versions separately (that come with the patch).

I guess adding new structures and/or templates is just a no-go. :(
One thing I might note is that I did rename a few of the mods so they were more easily distinguishable.

I read on one of the mod descriptions (Angel Statue mod or something like that) that people had to rename it from 'Angel-Statue' to 'Angel_Statue' for some reason in order for it to work. I'm re-downloading ALL the mods now to see if that has anything to do with it.

heh... wish me luck, the 2 people that have viewed this XD
For what it's worth, I have not had any issues.
I found the problem. Do NOT rename mods. For some reason, the mods for Banished are dependent on their filenames. What I did (instead of renaming each individual *.pkm file to keep them organized) was to zip each one into it's own separate archive with 7zip and rename the zip files to briefly explain what each mod does... I then sorted them in individual folders to further organization lol. Mild OCD, what can I say?

Anyways, problem solved. All mods are working correctly and I have tons of great additions to the game now :)

Oh, and if you've been looking for the mod that adds fences, check here!

RedKetchup's Decorative Items mod adds a very nice touch to the world of banished
(did you catch the pun? XD)

Also, I can make a list of modding websites and/or useful individual mods if anyone is interested.
