I realize I'm probably overlooking something simple, but I just started playing a few hours ago.

Ran into some spiders in a small graveyard. Killed a few. A few more wandering around but they're not attacking me so I was going to avoid them, but I keep getting that message about not being able to auto walk (right click) while in combat. How do I exit combat mode?

edit: out of it now, without me doing anything. Still, if someone could explain it I'd be grateful. Does it last a certain amount of time, or maybe relate to proximity of enemies?

edit: you simply walk away. there is no start/end combat button. proximity. if you're in a fight but you can get far enough away, it ends (so far, but i've only fought spiders)

If Deer are around, they will put you in combat mode. They are passively aggresive. They Never Attack. So Just run away from them in a safe direction. :)
