Newbie question: Can I use a Microsoft XBox 360 wireless USB receiver to use an XBox controller instead of a mouse for this game? I'm going to go insane using the little dinky mousepad on my laptop.

I'm not 100% sure but I'd say no you can't. The 360 didn't even exist when this game came out, plus it wouldn't help you much even if it did work since there are so many hotkeys and precise mouse clicking required.

I don't think you can use the x-box controller.

I believe you would be much better off with a usb mouse instead of x-box controller or mousepad anyways though.

program joy pad, you map there all buttons and axis for mouse.
