For some reason I have just never been able to grow very fond of Jaheira.
Jan is certainly one of the most amusing characters to have along. Not the most useful (depending on how you look at it), but I love his banter and conversation.
Minsc is most definitely a very endearing character, but to be honest he sometimes works a little on my nerves, being as loud and unbridled as he is.
I have to agree that Yoshimo is probably quite underrated. He's the personification of that lovable rogue. I think I would probably add him to my list. I also find his personal story quite memorable.
Mazzy, because I like her voice actress, and because I appreciate her integrity of character, and her enormous moral stature notwithstanding her small physical nature. When she is included in the party along with Valygar they make quite a pleasant pair in their bantering.
Valygar. I think because he strikes me as a kind of warrior who is almost contemplative, reflects on his actions, and is not afraid to examine his own motives. As a result he is rather cynical and uncertain, while yet remaining morally upright (mostly).
Viconia. She's a bit of a cracked egg and a tough nut to crack (so to speak), but that's probably part of the reason why dragging her along is ultimately rather rewarding. When followed through to its conclusion, hers is an almost tragic tale of redemption.
(Mind you, just about all the woman in BG II are a little mentally unsound.)
Keldorn, He's old and wise and loyal, with an impeccable sense of honour and duty. Only problem is that he sometimes gets a little over zealous and takes things a little too far. Like when he wants to turn Viconia from a merely cracked egg into an omelette.
