Spoiler Alert and all that stuff.

So I just finished up Durlag's, and returned to Ulgoth's beard with the Soultaker dagger to finish up the quest. I get attacked by that initial group of Cultists who demand the dagger, but after the cultists attack all of the other NPCs/Commoners turn hostile and attack me as well. I'm assuming this is not supposed to happen, so does anyone have any clue as to a fix for this?

Also, I don't even have the chance to let off and AOE spell before this happens, so that explanation is out the window.

Try the fix posted here

I never experienced such issue, but then I play heavily modded game.
Do you play vanilla BG1 or BGTutu?
