Hello everyone!

When you are doing the Umar Hills questline you`ll eventually end up in a room with a pool of lava. This room leads to a another room with two skeleton warriors and two shadows. You'll need two or three melee characters. Can also be done with one character but you're really pushing your luck with only one. Have them by the edge of the lava pool. You want them to be as close as you can get to the pool without taking damage. Before you start make sure that you have enough heals to keep your characters up. Turn off the A.I. so your characters don't wander into a fiery doom.

Have one of your guys walk by the edge of the pool to the door of the other room. Don't go into the room. Get to the entrance and you will pull a few monsters. If you go into the room you'll pull everything which will be a pretty tough fight. Once you've pulled the monsters, have your guy cross diagonally back into position. If you skirt around the edges, the monsters will follow you along that path; throwing away all of our planning. You want them to be in a spot where they're taking damage from the pool while your dudes are attacking them. You'll take some damage as you cross but you'll be fine as long as you don't stay too long. 2H weapons go a very long way, but if you don't have the proficiencies one handers are fine too. You can set traps if you like. If you are going to use area of effect spells (like fireball), you need to target the doorway as your characters exit and cross the pool. I'm going to advise against it though. Your timing needs to be absolutely perfect so that you damage the undead and not your party members. The skeleton warriors have magic resistance and your mage/cleric needs to be in a spot where he won't take damage from the pool (or his spell will be disrupted). Wands can fix this issue but I still advise against it.

The melee characters might not be enough. Magic missle and arrows should be used to help your front line troops.

Alternatively you can buff one person up with potions and spells and heal him as he's taking damage. Another method is to have summons up instead. You'll definitely need a wand for summnons though. You can only have five summons up at any given time and they usually don't last very long. You need to replenish your summons as they are being killed and get them up to position. If you are late with positioning them the undead will slowly advance to you and your party. The summon strategy is unnecessarily complex and I strongly suggest you use the first one.

Did I get something wrong? Do you want to add to my post? Do think this is a terrible strategy? Feel free to let me know!

One priest, one scroll of Protection from Undead, one potion of invisibility, turn off AI, turn on 'Turn Undead', walk in, profit.

That`s brilliant!
It's just a couple of the simple ways to get through a rather easy dungeon. A different one is to pass by the lich in the city gates of Amn (the one in the Inn's secret passage) and grab the Daystar. With it, just put it on your melee warrior and blast all undead with it's sunray ability, and when that's out, whack them on the head for massive damage anyway.
