How much does BGT integrate the three games? Does BGT allow you to travel back and forth between areas of BG, BG2 and ToB? Or does it just remove the step `export character->import character' between BG and BG2?

Because if you could go back to old areas, that would be awesome and would most certainly make me make the switch from Tutu to BGT.

Ah, ok. Does the same go for BG2->ToB (so nothing changed there?)?

I have not actually TRIED it yet, but BG2 -> ToB should stay pretty much the same

Ok, thank you! Disappointed you can't travel back, as that would have really created one big epic game, but I might actually still give BGT a shot on my next play through. The consistent characters and smooth transition do sound appealing.

Ah also: I've been told that if you decide to not take some characters, like Jaheira for example, she will be properly leveled up in BG2 instead of directly transferred
