hello GOG community,

I am experiencing a glitch in Baldur's Gate 2 I am hoping somebody can help with. I played the whole way through this amazing game and now I might not be able to finish it. I am in Chapter 7 in Suldanessellar. I killed the dragon, released the spirits of the elven warriors, burned through Irenicus's minions throughout the town, and I'm inside the Palace. I entered the Palace, went downstairs, got the speech from Ellesime where she said I need the acorns from the palace gardens to extend the branches to get to Jon Irenicus to kill him...

and there is no use icon for the tree where the seeds are supposed to be.

I have looked this up in video walkthrough's and there is supposed to be a use icon for the tree so you can get the seeds from it. but there isn't for me. I didn't get the seeds when I first entered the Palace, and now it seems like I can't. I went downstairs first and then came back up to get them.

does anybody know of a bug fix for this? Please say yes.
