Played the BG (original) game many years ago.
Playing EE and noticing a few differences.
Just arrived in Nashkel, and I think i remember that the Nashkel storekeep used to offer to buy winter wolf pelts for 500g (usually 250g), but having just visited, he didnt mention wolf pelts at all (no dialogue box mention).
Has this been removed in the EE baldurs gate ?

Have you checked the price the vendor offers on the buy/sell screen? The dialogue could have been removed, but he might give you the same price.

There are no winter wolf pelts on the vendors list currently.
Could of sworn previously it came up as an extra line of dialogue..something like he has a buyer who will pay a premium ?
I will wait until i kill a winter wolf, go back, and try again.

The EE does change his dialog a little. His first dialog line - used when talking to the party for the first time - is unchanged, and in this line he does mention that he'd pay good money for a "white wolf pelt". In the original game he repeats this line if you don't have any winter wolf pelt. If you do he will know and automatically greet you with a different line.

In EE they changed it so that the first line is said only once during your first conversation with him. From the second time on, he uses a new greeting added by the EE, and you won't ever see the first line again - unless you spawn a new him using the console.

So you might have missed his mention of winter wolf pelt.

His original default greeting is a tad lengthy, so the folk making EE might have been worried that it would strain players' eyes too much if repeated every time they talk to him. Not everyone fancies the thought of reading more than 2 lines of text and all that, right? 'specially in this day and age.

Pretty sure he didn't mentioned wolf pelts in 1st chat, but obviously can't be 100% certain.
When i grab a wolf pelt, i guess i'll find out when i go back to him.
Appreciate your help :)
My mistake...the storekeep must have mentioned it, as i have just returned and sold the 2 pelts i had, for 500 each.
Thanks to all for helping
