First off, I did a fresh install and I followed Conservative Modder's Guide to install Widescreen and GUI mods, Baldurdash text update, Unfinished Business and only the four Cosmetic Changes listed there from the BG1 Tweak Pack.

The problem I'm having is that every time I save the game, the music stops playing. It only starts playing again if I change zones or restart the game, reloading doesn't seem to work.
As I've seen someone suggest turning it off in another topic, I don't have Environmental Audio enabled, it's uncheckable/greyed out in the Sound menu and set to 0 in Baldur.ini.
All other sounds are working fine.

It's quite annoying since I'm used to saving compulsively so I'm strolling around with no music most of the time which is ruining the atmosphere.

Any input on what could be causing it and how could I fix it?
Thanks ahead.

No idea, but having environ. audio grayed out suggests some kind of driver incompatibility to me. So.. is the game running in Win7? Is it in compatibility mode? Do you run it as administrator? Is it Fullscreen (cause music/environ gets cut out when you alt+tab out of the game)? Can you try setting the soundcard to stereo/4+1 or somesuch, some standard that existed back then?

Sorry for the late response.

Anyway, yeah, Windows 7 x64, no compatibility mode (none of them made any difference), my user is already an administrator, running fullscreen (windowed doesn't fix it), sound output is stereo.

VladanStef: my user is already an administrator,
Even if your account is an admin, you have to tell the OS to run the program as administrator. Right-click the icon and either click "run as administrator" or go to the properties, compatibility, and check "always run as administrator".
