Carmelo2683: Hi again Iconoclast , about the Sdk , the first time i download it i took the one that i had pointed out the one from june , but then i had to reinstall windows later and for some reason i could not install that one later , allways ending in the 98% or something like that , the one from February did work though
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=10084 , for some reason the thing installed both for x84 and for x64 bits i belive , i am not very good at computers but this i manage to figure out after a wile searching xD , what i did was go to , Microsoft DirectX SDK(February 2010) / Utilities / and then in both x86 and x64 in / Bin , took the aplication called - Dxclp - that is what starts the thing for me so i can take out the Hardware Acceleration in the DirecDraw tab , do it in both X86 and X64 , for some reason i have to anyways , sorry if my explanation is a bit messy but i am just a gamer with very basic computer knowledge :P , hope that one from February helps you the same it did to me :)
Good news; Even though the installation for the SDK failed, it's still on my computer and after turning off DirectDraw hardware acceleration, Baldur's Gate is working fine... Now, I fi could find a similar fix for Baldur's Gate II and Planescape, because the same fix doesn't help those two games.. :(
