Hi, I ran into this issue recently, where both Baldur's Gate Classic or EE will not boot up in Fedora 25 using the Wayland compositor. But when I switch back to the (depreciated) xorg setup, both versions run just fine.
EE crashes in the middle of loading with a core dump somewhere, while classic will present a black screen with a dialog box with something like "Resolution not found". However, if I start classic in windowed mode with "-w", it will run just fine? It's just pretty small in windowed mode and I wanted to play it in fullscreen with the modern trappings that EE provides.
Has anyone else run into this issue and is there any workaround to get these games to run under the Wayland compositor yet?
