Today, my 160 HP Kensai(Level 9)/Mage (level 5) was one shot killed by a puny little Green Slime. Pieces of him went everywhere. Is it a bug?

Green Slimes can one shot kill a target if they fail their saves vs Death.
The poison does one point of damage per second but does not need to drain the health of the target to kill them. Each time the target takes damage they stand a chance of dying (Save vs Death.)
