Hi,

I recently played through the CD version of BG2 (without Throne of Bhaal) and I'm wondering if it's possible to import my final savegame into the GOG version Throne of Bhaal. If not, is there a way to import characters, or create new characters more or less identical to my party from BG2 starting at Throne of Bhaal? It wasn't so long ago I finished the game and I'm not quite ready to replay the entire thing again just yet...

I'm not sure about the save, but you should be able to import your main character. Just go into the Baldur's Gate II, load your game and go for the Character Record Sheet, there should be an Export button in the lower middle of the page, click it. Now once you export your character, quit the game and go into the Baldur's Gate II directory and look for the Characters folder, your exported character should be in there, take it out save it elsewhere (i.e desktop).

You can do the same for the Save game (their in the saves folder) but if you started and completed BGII without Throne of Bhall, i'm not too sure what you could use the save game for because you'ld be looking at starting a new Baldur's Gate II Throne of Bhall game.

Thanks for your help! Good to know I don't need to start again from the beginning... now all I need to do is figure out how to find the time to actually play the game :)
