If i play BG1 as a Human dual-class fighter - cleric and then import him to BG2, will he start as a fighter (single class), or as fighter/cleric?

Of course it will; they wouldn't let you make multiclass characters and then not let you take them to the next game with you.

That's what I thought too,but wanted to make sure since OP had doubts too and asked basically the same thing. Got me thinking whether certain combinations were invalid, and if the character would be converted to a single class, for example. But, it's good to know there aren't restrictions like this.
