How do the graphics between ID:EE and BG2:EE compare?

How about the interface? In BG2 is there a hot button for highlighting all containers/things on the ground you can pick up?

Is multi-classing in BB2:EE still not as good as single glass in BG2 original? Same for dual wielding. I realize you could say its a matter of preference, but I found dual wielding characters couldn't hit higher level monsters/npcs very well. And multi-classed characters fell far behind in damage output, controlling battles, etc. than single classed characters.

Is there key remapping in BG2:EE?

Also I had bought the original BG from gog a while ago and its fairly ugly and the UI isn't very good by comparison to ID:EE. Have the graphics improved and the UI in BG:EE?

The character sprites in BG EE look like cartoon characters now. They don't mesh well with the backgrounds at all.

They haven't done this crap with IWD yet, though.
Default graphics are crud unless you have a huge screen. Turning on Nearest Neighbor and turning off outlines is a major improvement, however you may still prefer them unfiltered (this depends mostly on your opinion of filters in your emulators and whatnot, I like NN). IWD wasn't updated to 2.0, so no filtering.

IIRC multi-classing works just like the original. Don't quote me on this.

UI is hate it or love it mostly, there are UI mods in the Beamdog forums however including one that changes the BG one to IWD.

Your observation is quite wrong. The general consensus is, multi-classing is overpowered. For two reasons.

1. High level ability. Multiclass characters have more HLAs, and more to choose from.
2. Single class characters are nerfed. For spell casters, their spell per day should still growing fast after level 20, but not so in BG2. For fighters, grand-mastery should give another attack per round, but not in BG2.

Fortunately, you can turn the outlines off. You do have to restart the game for it to take effect though...

You can, but the alternative still looks way worse than in the classic version. Especially if you zoom in.

Stig79:
That's because in the original you can't zoom in. It's always as sharp as the resolution used.
But yeah, when zoomed in, it's blocky or muddy as hell (dependent on the settings), and you can even see the outline of the sprite box at times, which is just sloppy imho.

It's more accurate to say you can't zoom out. The enhanced edition zoom is just a gimmick. The 'original' resolution of this game, which the enhanced edition is base on, looks far, far worse in the enhanced edition, and much ado is made about supposed better quality image, which by the above gimmick makes things look artificially sharper, just as any unclear image does (to a limit) as you zoom away from it, even in real life.
