My friend and I just bought Baldur's Gate 2. We both have set up as TCP/IP. He tried to connect by using me IP address and it didn't work. Are there special steps we need to do to get it working?

You probably need to set your ports up correctly.

It's easier to just use gameranger. Also, make sure your firewalls are allowing BG2 to get through.
