iv won the game and just playing around using cheats now. just made a max lvl mage. where do I get lvl 9 spells?

Apart from Freedom, which is sold by the Duergar merchant in the Underdark, all other level 9 spells have to be found during the game, or bought from Ribald Barterman's 'Adventurer's Mart special' store from chapter 6 onwards, unless you're in Throne of Bhaal, in which case some can be bought from Lazarus in Saradush or Karthis al-Hezzar in the North Forest.

If Im not wrong, at Suldanesselar (spelling?) in one of the houses you have a scroll for Stop Time.

You are playing Baldur's Gate 2, right? Obvious question, I know, but you did only say "the game". Reaching very high levels with a mage or priest will also allow you to get 9th level spells you can't get elsewhere.

Right, I also assumed you meant BG2.

If yer messing around with the cheats now.....why not just use the Console Command Create Item to make the scrolls you need so your mage can scribe them?
