greyhuntr: Don't be too tough on yourself. 2nd Edition mechanics can be tough to figure out, and many of us have played the game so much we know where all the good stuff is already. It is kind of surprising you did not at least find Lilacror though, since it is in the sewers attached to the Copper Coronet. It is a +3 two handed sword that both Minsc (and probably Keldorn) could use.
GeraltOfRivia_PL: Is it the sword form 'Solve the Riddle in the Sewers' quest? If so, i did not do it. I devoted a lot of time to sidequests, because i had trouble with the boss fight in BG1 and didn't want it to repeat. So i did the quests in Trademeet, Umar Hills, Windspear Hills, etc. but i decided not to do that one because after all those long hours of grinding my levels i decided to just go with the plot already
