Running ./start.sh in a terminal results in error:
./BaldursGate: error while loading shared libraries: libjson.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

The attached picture is a capture from Synaptic package filtered for json packages installed

Edit after solution: The missing package was libjson0:i386
