PLEASE this is killing me, i had these series years ago and even then it was a beast trying to move my character from BG1 to BG2 WITH the same voice too, and now that they reoffered the games recently, i JUST finished BG1 and am having a HELL of a time exporting/importing my character from BG1 to BG 2, PLEASE HELP ME ?!!?

It's very simple. Load up your game in BG1 to a save with a level you want to export. Press the character sheet button (the head symbol on the left), then press the 'Export' button. Type in a name, which *must* be eight characters or less. This will save your character as a ****.chr file inside the 'Characters' folder in your game directory. Quit the game, go to that folder and right click/copy the .chr file you just created.

Now go to your BG2 game folder, open the 'Characters' folder and paste the file. That's it. Note that you can also import directly from a saved game.
