Regardless of which button I hit initially (tutorial, campaign, installed pics), the game freezes on the next screen. I re-downloaded it on both...my Windows 10 and Windows 7 machines...and it always works with 7, but freezes with 10. I tried setting the compatibility to Windows 7 ... without success.

Although my Win 10 machine gets a dpc_watchdog error, I don't think it's the machine since Icewind Dale enhanced runs.

Any suggestions? (other than reverting back to 7)

Revert back to Windows 7.

Well, got a different blue screen this morning (irql less than...), and guess what... Baldur\s Gate EE is now running!!!!
