There may be a patch but in not in the vanilla game.

yes there are a couple of mods for this, check out Spellhold Studios to get started

I do not know the specifics but I know that the mods for this exist

Blackwyrm is where google directs me too and spellhold doesn't seem to have it.

But Blackwyrm won't work for me

any help here? This mod is dependent on perhaps some others, the World Map for sure.

Also BWLair indicates you need WeiDu and or TuTu

If you are still interested in an answer, Artemis is part of the Drizzt Saga. There are different endings to the saga. It is worthwhile investigating them.
