My CD version of Baldur's Gate is 1.3.5512, but GOGs version is 1.3.5521. Is there a difference?

Changes in Version 1.3.5521
This version is updated for DirectX 8 and addresses the problem of
not being able to play a TCP game if you have DirectX 7 installed.

As the above user posted, also keep in mind that CDProjekt fixes the major bugs in games before selling them here to make sure they work on modern day systems.
